1. Kelham Island
This is a selection of work from a project based on a visit to Kelham Island in Sheffield.
 Key influences for this were the artists Jim Dine and Lynn Skordal.

2. Recorded Events
This was a 12 week project based on social media and showing what is hidden beneath the surface of perfection. Key influences for this was the work of artist Hannah Hoch and the celebrity posts of Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato.

Development sample - faces distorted and enlarged features.
Final piece - Bodice with cracked mirror, cracked wax and scar representing what is hidden beneath the surface of perfection shown in the media.








3. Grief
This is a selection of work from my current project exploring the effects of grief and how we commemorate loss of loved ones. Key influences are the Manchester One Love concert and the work of artists Jacqui Parkinson and Shannon Amidon

Final presentation of fashion proposals.
The heart from the One love concert and Manchester bee sewn onto the closed eye grief stitch, communicating the idea of coming together through grief. Designs used on garments.

Final piece - Case study 1. The oak tree has been used in order to commemorate the life of Allan, who loved wood, nature and walking, this has been stitched on to his handkerchief.
